How Alorie got her groove back.
Last night I helped heal Zul’Aman.
(I ran Karazhan as Alorie the night before, to get back in the swing of things. I've been playing my Shadow Priest in there almost exclusively for months, so I needed the practice. The only steady thing I've really done with Alorie this year is PVP/Arena.)
We got through Bear and Eagle. It was my first time there.
It was actually pretty awesome. Healing is really hard work. A few times, I was thinking, “Damn, this is almost not fun, it’s so much work.” I take healing very seriously, and I get protective of my charges, even going so far as to bark out orders to the other healers if I feel they are not up to par.
Sorry, but we have a job to do, and you better keep up with me.
I feel that competitive bug of healing again, like in the olden days when I was one of the only healers in the guild. Since a few more healers have cropped up during my various absences, I’m tucking in my chin, rolling up my sleeves, and ready to rock out and show my quality.
